What does the ECOCERT certification mean?
ECOCERT is one of the world's strictest certification systems for natural cosmetics. All Lume Vetta products are certified according to the ECOCERT COSMOS Natural standard — this means: no synthetic fragrances, no petrochemical ingredients, and no questionable preservatives. For selected products, we are additionally striving for the highest level — ECOCERT COSMOS Organic — with a minimum of 95% organically grown ingredients.
What ingredients does Lume Vetta use — and which do we avoid?
Our formulas are based on plant-based active ingredients, cold-pressed oils, and natural extracts — following the principle: as pure as possible, as effective as necessary. What you will never find in our products: parabens, mineral oils, silicones, PEGs, synthetic fragrances, and microplastics. The complete INCI list is transparently displayed on every product page.
How sustainable is the packaging?
Our outer packaging is made of 100% recycled paper — without coatings, without plastic films, and is fully compostable. The inner padding and filling materials are also plastic-free. Our primary packaging is designed for maximum recyclability. We are continuously working to further reduce the amount of packaging we use — because the best thing for the environment is no packaging at all.
Are the products tested on animals?
No — never. Lume Vetta is 100% cruelty-free. Neither our finished products nor individual ingredients are tested on animals. This is also a mandatory requirement of the ECOCERT COSMOS certification, which is regularly verified.
Where are the products manufactured?
All Lume Vetta products are manufactured in the EU by SIA Nord Beauty (Cosmetics Nord), which also acts as the Responsible Person under the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009, ensuring full regulatory compliance across all markets. Short delivery routes mean fewer emissions — and better quality control.
For which skin types are the products suitable?
Our formulas are developed to be well-tolerated by all skin types — including sensitive skin. Since we strictly avoid harsh ingredients, synthetic fragrances, and potential allergens, the products are also suitable for individuals with intolerances or reactive skin.
